We’re baaaack………..On Tuesday, May 15, 2007, NESF will be hosting its annual fundraising auction - A Groovy Benefit.  Once again we will be holding our event at the Newark Club (http://newarkclub.com/) from 6 - 9:30 p.m.

Like last year, there will be an open bar, a dinner and desert buffet,  “groovy” music provided by DJ J.J. (http://www.webspawner.com/users/135go/index.html) and fabulous items to bid on.  The silent auction will take place from 6 - 7:45 p.m. and will including items from "Independent Galleries" (http://www.independentgalleries.com/index.php).  The live auction will take place from 7:55 - 8:45 p.m.  Some examples of what will be available for bidding are: event tickets (i.e. theater, sporting events), vacations, jewelry, sports memorabilia, art.

Since last year was so successful, we’ve set an even higher goal for this year.  We’ve working toward raising $75,000 and we’re looking to our loyal supporters, and new ones too, to help meet that goal.

In 2007 NESF will celebrate 30 years of working with the community in “Preventing Emergencies From Becoming Tragedies”.  We’re very excited about kicking off our year of celebration with this fundraiser.
